WWU Call of Cthulhu
Inspector James Barrington (Scotland Yard)
The Inspector was referred to the investigators by Jonah Kensington, he comes across as a methodical and intelligent man who enjoying downplaying occultis mumbo-jumbo being strictly interested only in proven leads. He has been on the case of the “Egyptian murders” for nearly a year, and is quite desperate to solve them as soon as possible. His predecessor on the case dissapeared mysteriously and was never found. Even though he didnt entertain many of the investigators theories, he did bring up a number of interesting leads about the string of murders, first and foremost that Jackson Elias came to him and claimed that The Brotherhood of the Black Pharoh was responsible. Barrington looked into this, but had the claim refuted by Edward Gavigan of the Penhew Foundation. The Inspector also mentioned the “Blue Pyramid”, a favorite Egyptian night spot in London; and an Egyptian spice dealer, Tewfik al-Sayed, who had guided an expedition to Egypt on behalf of the Penhew Foundation.
